Roots pours coffee from 7 in the morning and wine the moment you want it — no cutoff, no switch to flip. The room just leans a little deeper into wine as the day goes on. Same beans, same vines, same ground they both come from.
We didn't want to be a coffee shop that also happens to sell wine. Order a glass at 9am and we'll pour it, no questions asked. There's no 5 o'clock switch here — just one room that leans a little further into wine as the day goes on, the same way roots go deeper the further down you dig.
Coffee and wine start the same way: something grown, something rooted, pulled up and turned into what's in your cup or your glass. That's the whole idea behind the name, and behind how we run the room.
House-roasted drip and espresso, on from open to close, pastries from local bakers.
A rotating by-the-glass list, poured any hour you'd like it, small plates alongside.
